We’re collaborating with a bee-beautiful Canadian company called Ungalli. Like us, they’re concerned about the natural world and are truly committed to making a difference to our beautiful planet.

Founders (and sisters) Hailey and Bree grew up on a farm in Ontario, Canada, surrounded by horses, rivers and hayfields. The special compassion they feel for animals and their desire to care for the planet was passed on to them from their mother, grandmother and great grandparents. They created Ungalli as a vehicle through which to counteract the negative impact of the conventional clothing industry with their cutting-edge recycled clothing line.

Buying just one Ungalli t-shirt saves 3,000 litres of water, over two litres of petrol, reduces the output of 12 kilograms of carbon dioxide and 60g of chemicals versus buying a conventionally produced t-shirt. Not just satisfied with having eco-friendly production, Ungalli also donate 50 pence to the Bumblebee Conservation Trust whenever they sell any bee item from their website, which will help support our vital conservation work. Although they are far away in Canada, shipping to the UK is just $5.50 Canadian Dollars, that’s less than £3.00.

Ungalli t-shirts are $49.50 Canadian Dollars, which is around £24.50.

All items are made from 100% recycled materials such as:

  • Plastic bottles
  • Cotton
  • Black food trays
  • Plastic beer bottles/root beer bottles
  • X-ray film

Why buy Ungalli?

Apart from helping to look after the UK’s precious bumblebees, there are other reasons to buy Ungalli!

  1. When you buy Ungalli, you join a movement. You help reduce the amount of plastic in landfill, support an altruistic small business started by passionate young entrepreneurs and help fund the crucial work of eco charities like ours.
  2. Buy any bee item and $1 from your purchase will go to BBCT. It will help us realise our mission to create a different future; one in which our communities are rich in bumblebees and colourful flowers and support a diversity of wildlife and habitats for everyone to enjoy.
  3. Inexpensive shipping. Even though the company is Canadian, it’s only $5.50 Canadian Dollars or around £2.80 per order!

Thank you for helping to help us safeguard the future of the UK’s bumblebees.

“Bumblebees are lovely little creatures - their bright stripes and gentle buzz bring colour and sound to our summer gardens. They are also very important because they pollinate our wildflowers and crops. Sadly things aren't going well and some species are threatened with extinction.
I'm really concerned by these declines and I'm pleased to support the work of the Bumblebee Conservation Trust."
