Lead a guided walk

Experiencing nature is always the best way to gain an appreciation of it!

Taking part in a guided bumblebee safari can be a great way to enthuse people about these amazing creatures. It can also encourage them to take action by planting bee-friendly flowers in their gardens/ communities.

With such a small team at BBCT it is impossible for us to run guided walks all over the UK but you could help us to widen our reach by running your own bumblebee safaris.

If you live near a wildflower meadow or have a garden that is buzzing with bumblebees we can support you with guidance materials about organising, advertising and running your own safari. We guarantee you’ll love guiding the walk and you’ll learn more about bumblebees and flowers than you thought possible.

“Bumblebees are lovely little creatures - their bright stripes and gentle buzz bring colour and sound to our summer gardens. They are also very important because they pollinate our wildflowers and crops. Sadly things aren't going well and some species are threatened with extinction.
I'm really concerned by these declines and I'm pleased to support the work of the Bumblebee Conservation Trust."
