Bumblebee Conservation Day - drop-in session

Inverness Botanic Gardens

Time: 12.30pm - 1.30pm

This is a FREE event and donations to the BBCT are always welcome.

Join our Conservation Officer, Katy Malone, for a tour of the Botanic Gardens as part of Inverness Science Week. We will catch and look at the different bumblebee species up close, finding out more about the different species we find.

Please meet just inside the door of the Botanic Gardens, ready to depart at 12.30pm. This event is suitable for families. The walk may be cancelled or delayed in the event of rain at the scheduled start time.

Bumblebee intermediate identification course

Identification of all UK bumblebee species and detailed
description of ecology, lifecycle and anatomy. Attendees should already be able to identify the big seven.
