FlowerWorld is delighted to support the Bumblebee Conservation Trust and as one of the leading independent flower importers and distributors in the UK we welcome the vital work that the Trust is doing. In 2010 we launched the first packets of seeds to be given away with bouquets of flowers to support the Trust's work and encourage bees into gardens. |

The Garden & Leisure Group are delighted to adopt BBCT as their Charity of the Year 2010 across their seven UK stores. We are keen to encourage visitors to our stores to turn their gardens into sanctuaries for wildlife. Gardens nationwide cover a vast area, and individual choices really can make a big difference. Throughout 2010 we plan to involve local residents and schoolchildren in raising awareness of the plight of bumblebees through fancy dress competitions, colouring competitions, in-store promotions, special bee-friendly seeds and plants, BBCT collection boxes, and lots of information for local bee lovers. |
