This page has been specially created for all of those who came along to the Bumblebee Conservation Trust's Members' Day in July 2014. It contains links to videos of each of the talks, and to more information about the topics discussed during the day. We would like to thank you all for attending, and for supporting BBCT in our work to help the UK's bumblebees.
Many of you are already helping us through volunteering, and it was lovely to meet you in person. If you aren't already registered as a volunteer but would like to do so, please click here to find out more. Registered volunteers have access to our materials, including leaflets and copies of our 'Plight of the bumblebee' presentation which have been narrated and come with notes to help you present it.
Richard's talk will hopefully have inspired some of you to become BeeWalkers. BeeWalk helps us to gather valuable scientific information, and the more data we have, the stronger it is. Please visit www.beewalk.org.uk for more information.

“Bumblebees are one of the most endearing insect visitors to any garden. Their furry, colourful bodies and clumsy flight always raise a smile, but they also do an essential job. Without their pollination services many flowers would produce no seeds, and fruit and vegetable yields would suffer.”
