Job opportunity - Administrator

Full-time post, starting as soon as possible.

The Bumblebee Conservation Trust seeks to appoint a motivated, dependable and highly capable individual to provide BBCT’s staff and volunteers with an efficient and effective administration service.

Working closely with our CEO and Finance team, the successful candidate will handle BBCT’s day-to-day administration requirements to assist in the smooth running of the Trust. The successful applicant will support staff and volunteers to ensure effective and consistent implementation of policy and procedures.

Key areas of activity include:

General office administration in support of the day-to-day work of a busy office
Administering employee HR records, documentation and communications including supporting recruitment and BBCT appraisal processes.
Providing a secretariat role to the CEO and Board of Trustees
Line management of junior office staff and office volunteers.

This is a full-time, permanent position.

The closing date is 5pm 28th April 2014 with interviews held  on 7th May 2014.

Job opportunity - Support Services Officer

Full-time post, starting as soon as possible.

The Bumblebee Conservation Trust seeks to appoint an enthusiastic and highly capable individual to provide quality
customer service to our members, volunteers and supporters.

Working with an experienced and highly dedicated team at our Head Office in Stirling, you will be the first point of contact for phone and email communications from all our different supporters. These people are the lifeblood of the BBCT and ensuring that they are well looked after is an essential role; without their loyal support we would be unable to deliver our charitable aims.

Working closely with our Administration and Development Managers, the successful candidate will handle BBCT’s dayto-day customer relationship management, using its new system Donorflex. As the first point of contact for our
external customers, you will engage with members of the public, BBCT supporters, donors, businesses and volunteers.
The role demands someone who has exemplary verbal and written communication skills, as well as excellent social skills. Previous experience of using contact databases and data entry is essential.

Key areas of activity include:

Membership stewardship including retention schemes
Supporter communications
Online fundraising support
Direct mail campaigns and cash appeals
Registering new volunteers, and sending out welcome
packs etc.
Database analysis and reports.

This is a full-time, permanent position.

The closing date is 5pm 28th April 2014 with interviews held  on 8th May 2014.
