Lead a guided walk

Experiencing nature is always the best way to gain an appreciation of it!

Taking part in a guided bumblebee safari can be a great way to enthuse people about these amazing creatures. It can also encourage them to take action by planting bee-friendly flowers in their gardens/ communities.

With such a small team at BBCT it is impossible for us to run guided walks all over the UK but you could help us to widen our reach by running your own bumblebee safaris.

If you live near a wildflower meadow or have a garden that is buzzing with bumblebees we can support you with guidance materials about organising, advertising and running your own safari. We guarantee you’ll love guiding the walk and you’ll learn more about bumblebees and flowers than you thought possible.

“Few people realise just how important bumblebees are. They are charming little things and a pleasure to see, but they also do an essential job which many people take for granted. If bumblebees continue to decline then we face ecological turmoil. Join BBCT today and support their important work.”
