Wildflower seed collecting workshop
The Bumblebee Conservation Trust is running a wild flower seed collecting workshop in partnership with the Orkney Wildflower Group. The workshop is free and open to anyone with an interest in learning how to collect wild flower seeds and grow plants to help support the Great yellow bumblebee.
The course will take place on Friday 22nd August between 10am and 4pm at Deerness Community Centre. It will include a trip to Mull Head Local Nature Reserve to collect wildflower seed and hopefully see Great yellow bumblebees.
Places are limited and anyone interested in attending is encouraged to book as soon as possible.
