Buzzing about at Leicester Botanic Gardens
Go bumblebee-spotting at University of Leicester Botanic Gardens!
This will be a great chance to see most of the common bumblebee species, and expert identification and guidance will be provided by one of our volunteers, Maggie. There will be a walk around the flower beds, catching some bumblebees and identifying the species. It is an outdoor event, so be prepared for any weather conditions. Spaces on this event are limited, and registration can be done on the day. This will be part of the Botanic Gardens' Ecology Day, which will see activities happening in the gardens from 11am that day (bee walk will start at 2pm).
Please meet at the display board on Knoll Lawn at the Botanic Gardens 1.50pm for a 2pm start (the event will last until 4pm).
