Big Wild Garden Day, Stafford
Gardens can be wonderful habitats for wildlife, so come along to the Big Wild Garden Day at the Wolseley Centre to hear how you can make your garden better for bumblebees, amongst other things. Also on the bill are South Staffordshire Beekeepers, Butterfly Conservation, Staffordshire Bat Group, Plantlife, Buglife and Friends of the Earth.
The day will be suitable for people of all ages, with acitvities including making bee hotels, various crafts, a garden wildlife trail and making wildflower 'seed bombs'. There's even colouring and face-painting for the little ones!
There will also be a series of talks about bees, garden birds and other wildlife in the centre.
