Bumblebees for Beginners

Time: 10am - 3.30pm

This is a FREE event (suggested donation £5).

Join Katy Malone, Conservation Officer for Scotland, in identifying some of the common bumblebee species found in and around Aberdeen. The day will comprise of talks in the morning discovering more about bumblebee ecology and identification features, followed by a walk in the Aberdeen Botanic Gardens in the afternoon to catch and examine the different bumblebee species.

Booking is essential. Please use our online booking form to reserve your place.

This event is suitable for adults and older children. Please bring clothing suitable for the weather, and a packed lunch or money to purchase food at the cafe at lunchtime.
