I know that old mouse nesting material is a good thing to provide for BBs.  However, I would like to know if old rat nesting materials would work as well.  Perhaps materials from wild rats would not be a good idea but I have a friend who keeps domesticated rats, so I suspect I could have an unlimited supply.
