Really strange thing happened today, did my bee walk and found a pair of mating B. pratorum on a leaf. Then when I went home, a short time later I was fortunate enough to film, guess what.. a pair of B.pratorum on my lawn!! I rescued a nest from destruction last month and housed it in my garden nest box. I wondered if they were from that. The recent poor weather saw them all huddled up together under a warm kapok blanket over the past few days and today earlier, the weather was sunny and warm. Freedom they shouted and darted out!!

Wonderful video, George. Thanks for letting us all see this.
Am I alone in wondering why they don’t just stay in one place? Rambling and mating are a strange combination.
