I think this plant should be added to the list of very bee friendly plants. Eryngium Tripartitum is a thistle like plant that the bumble’s in my garden go absolutely mad for in late summer. It is a perennial and produces spikes of purple thistle-like flowers from late summer.

The bees adore it.

Great to see you on the forum!

I couldn’t agree more about Eryngium (Sea Holly) - I just wish it grew better in my garden. It is in some respects similar to Echinops (Globe Thistle) - the bees love both.

I have checked on Bee kind, and I am relieved to say that both are on there. We use common names largely, but the latin names work in the search box. Screen grab attached to prove it!

Ben,

I may be able to add a few flowers to your list though is there a way to get a quick view of them without having to go to every single page and hunt through them all? An additional ‘all plants on one page’ as a short cut please!!
