Hairy footed flower bee????

Could anyone tell me if I am right with the ID of this bee? It was very territorial, and chased off other bees, and it was covered in pollen. It also had a very loud buzz.

Probably a male Megachile sp., one of the Leaf-cutter bees.

Not Anthophora, as the wing veination is off. As Alan says, looks like a Megachilid, and although they aren’t shown very well, the front tarsi look to be white and expanded, which makes it one of willughbiella, maritima & circumcincta. You can rule out maritima as the mid and hind femurs aren’t expanded.  Need a better view of the foreleg to reliably split the other two (the extent of white on the femur), but as circumcincta is a relatively scarce coastal species, this is more likely to be willughbiella
