Last week I purchased a ceanothus which was in flower. I will plant it when the flowers are over as it is very busy with several worker bees of terrestris, pratorum, hypnorum and locorum. Until now I had rarely seen any BBs in my garden this year so this must be my number one plant and number one purchase of 2013.
I had to shake off 3 BBs from the plant when I took it into the garden centre shop to pay for it.. Luckily there were still some left for them to forage.
Highly recommended if you can squeeze one into your garden.
